Coco: Tips, techniques, and the facts you will need

1. pre-rinse (hand rub).
2. clean with soap & water
3. Dip in diluted bleach or peroxide
4. final rinse

fabric pots are a pain to clean, plus i dont really see any big benefit over HDPE pots

I'm curious what PPMs people are running with their coco grows? Im running pretty low for flowering, 600 PPM - 650 PPM. 100 - 150 PPMs of this is calmag. Only about 500 PPM are flowering nutes. They look just like hydroponically grown plants. Very glowing green. Greener and glowier than with straight hydro. Im using beneficials which I have resisted for ages, along with synthetic nutrients.

My PH is going in at about 5.8. I haven't tested the runoff to see what it's coming out at.

Would be nice to see some standardized PH, PPM ratios, etc. for coco growing. All the information Im finding online is all over the map.

I have been running coco for many years now. When I began I went overboard on getting my runoff. Now I have changed my methods some.
Depending on growth during veg, I will water to runoff for each cycle but one cycle i will set extra time to make sure I good runoff.
During flower, let's say I am doing 4 cycles per 12 hrs lights on, I set first cycle to get a decent runoff, the second and third cycle do not get good runoff but do get some. The final cycle i add extra to get very good runoff prior to light off.
This has worked well for me, though it does require me to be a bit anal and hover over my plants like a hen hovering over her chicks.
