Satori.......again I Apologize. .....the post above u made with the nuitrients shedual was pretty much wot I'm looking for .....I'm using canna atm but I will defo be switching to an alternative after this grow........boiling oil and Nick foster have gave me a couple of alternative .....I've already looked at the GH and it looks better and its a bit more concentrated(don't use as much........please try and understand I've had my grow dialled in perfectly with soil......but .....I don't no if that is actually wots hindering me in coco,every outher aspect is the same,its just getting a handle on wots ACCEPTABLE and wots not........

personally id run the maxigrow during veg and 50/50 maxibloom /maxigrow for the first half of bloom and then the maxi bloom only the second half of bloom
full strength per gallon

4 grams maxibloom

I use the K.I.S.S. Method - 7 grams of MaxiBloom in one gallon of tap water. I never have a deficiency and I never have a discolored leaf.

Nothing wrong with the maxi series, The only problems I had with it was by the time I got down to the last 1/4 of the bag it would become mushy from the high humidity in my area. Other than that great product.

Believe it or not mick .....that's exactly how I want to do it.....

Had to use my phone for pics lads the tablet I'm using has a shit camera.......plus canna couldn't have made the writing any smaller......I'm not sure if u will b able to see the proper info mate.......have a look.....

I use 100% coco, VitaGrow nutients, and Blumats. Couldn't be happier.

but ya I can treally get what I need out of what you got there

but what I can say is that your fertilizer is leaning very very strong on high N

the canna base nutes are already higher in N than anything else, im not ure whats in the green bottle I can see it says 2.65% N but the other p and K info is cut off... so id be worried about too much N during bloom using that fertilizer

Yea buddy the green bottles the pk booster I've been using (buddhas tree 9/18,I've decided I'm gonna go to a feed water feed water regime and keep with the watering every day.Ive been seeing the canna nuits r heavy with N the plants have been a deep green all through flower(no burn though)....im still not happy with how my bud is comming on imo their defo small for 5 weeks in flower,I'm not sure if its down to the size of the plants (big plants)usually i would have 8 plants that would be in a 8×4 tent and all the plants would be crammed in this would creat a carpet of good sized bud with not much underneath the canopy but this run im in my new room and have plenty of space....this has increased the amount of bud all over the plant but the bud is alot smaller......i do think this is some of my problem but i defo think their is something else thats hindering my bud growing to their full potential and I just can't put my finger on wot it is.......listen to this guys......I have used 2 LITRES OF CANNA A AND 2 LITRES OF B since I've had these plants in flower (5weeks). ....that's y I'm looking for a more concetrated food to use....also I've mentioned I've been using 25ltr pots wot do u guys think of that......could i get away with using a smaller pot (15ltr)with decent results ..........one last thing guys do u think using canna (complete nuit)I could stop adding a supplemental cal/mag,........again a big thx to u guys for taking the time to help me get on top of this coco medium. .......

calmag is for calcium

Epsom salt is for magnesium

your need for calmag will depend on the amount of calcium % in the base nutes part A&B
does the bottle say what the % amount is for calcium?

tell me the % amounts of NPK and calcium and magnesium for each bottle and how many mls per gallon you mix and then we can try and identify if you need calmag or not

if I could see it in the pics I might have been able to answer this

I think your issue might be related to your fertilizer mixing

too high N during bloom can cause a delay in bud formation ... if that's whats going on
but the fertilizer info would answer these questions at least in part

for some reason I have a slight memory of the canna brand of nutes having high calcium in the base nute... if my memory is correct you may not need the calmag at all

plus the calmag adds even more N

These are in 18lt. pots (2.5 gal). They are fed 550 ppm nutrient solution once a day. It will cost me about $25 in nutrients to bring these 18 plants to harvest. Around a $100 in lighting, fans and dehumidification for the nine week flowering cycle.

No dude they don't put enough cal in. I use canna coco nutes and still need to supplement with cal mag

What about if you use tap water? I use tap water with MaxiBloom in coco and I never have to use cal/mag.

I think one of them has like 10% calcium in it ..which is actually more than whats needed

I could be confusing it with another brand maybe

it depends on how much calcium is in your tap water... if its got 20 or 30 ppm of calcium you might not need calmag ever...maybe just Epsom salt for magnesium

Yea mate I use tap water. It has an EC of 0.3/0.4 and I still need to add some otherwise I get a deficiency. You grow in the UK?

I don't think so dude. I think they've got 1 for coco use. They've brought out there own calmag now but I've never used it.

With r/o or distilled you have to use calmag with canna it only has a little cal and mag in. I use 5ml per gallon.

With a+b always add them at equal doses.

Honestly 1600-2000 ppm seems very high imo. I've done complete runs with no higher than 800ppm and they were perfect. Only use the pk 13/14 (or whatever nuts you're using) for one week. (Start around day 21-24).
Once your using around 6ml a/b per gallon you no longer need to add calmag as there will be an abundance of it from the canna nutes.

If you water daily I wouldn't water for runoff but 1-2x per week. Don't let the pot get dry, you always want a little weight to it.

It doesn't take a lot of nutes for plants to like canna. You don't ever really need to go over 50% of what canna recommends.

Cannazym is pointless unless you are reusing your coco after your grow imo. It's an enzyme that helps speed up the process of breaking down dead root material.
