I can't believe I've just liked a 4 year old post (the original post in this thread) and from what I can tell I'm the only person who's liked it.
What a post!!!!!!.............if it happened now with some other 'new' booster to be found that had benefits like aloe or coconut water, he'd be getting his cock sucked pmsl. How far does it go back, using coconut water/aloe etc? anyone know?
I know I found out about it a couple years ago in a high times article. It is a story about organics and ROLS. If you google coconut water cannabis it is usually the first story to pop up. Its a good read if you have the time. I also grow aloe outdoors and have plenty of it at my disposal so I use it whenever I do foliar feeds and I throw some in when making tea too.

essentially the same as a sst
Same growth enzymes and such.
Not much phosphorus though, not sure where they saw that.
It's potassium that it was a lot of, but that's not always good, cannabis doesn't really use a ton of that, and it's easy to OD on.
I use a total of three coco-water treatments
Good shit

So you only use cocnut water three times? I used it too much then. How often do you use aloe?

How often do you foliar? I got stuff on my leaves after it dried. Aloe/protekt

No, no.. I'm a notorious LIGHT feeder man, you could probably do more than that, i'm just paranoid about too much potassium, I screwed up a batch yrs ago thinking black strap was a good way to add potassium.. it isn't...
Anyways.. also I have a fairly good amount of stuff in my soil anyways, I use it more for all the sst benefits
it's essentially the only thing I add to my plants, other than water. Oh and silica, annnd aloe

is that 2% of the RDA? or 2% as an NPK value? Hard to find info on that because all the info is for human consumption, same thing with black strap molasses
I know the potassium is like10-12 times the amount of phosphorus, according to the information I've seen, but I don't use it for that.
I also dilute it, I put a can of it in 3 gallons of water with about 10 tbsp. of fresh aloe gel.
Aloe is great shit too

Sorry. Yes it's RDA. I have no clue on how to find out the NPK aside from sending in a sample to be tested. But at 2% for us I'd say it's within a benificial range to cannabis, but certainly not an acceptable sole source. I consider coconut water to be a compliment to the plants diet, alot like aloe is.

I'm with you all the way, less is best. I prefer to underfunded as well. If they need it, they will show it.

I actually need to get more aloe. Pups aren't big enough yet.

Lol, I just noticed that. Sorry bro.
I didn't have an answer for you. But i think I've been using too much aloe. I like to add it to my watering more than foliar. But my plants have been getting 1oz/gallon as a drench once per week. Foliar is 1tsp/qt along with some liquid kelp/silica.

would it be bad to flush with coconut water? like not straight coconut water but adding a tablespoon or so per gallon? anyone tried this?
i flush with molasses so as not to completely starve them for the last 2 weeks, but I was thinking of maybe experimenting with the coconut water as well.. unless that is just completely rediculous haha, what you guys think?

Hoy. Haven't posted in quite a bit for the season was over. But I figure I'll post some relevant stuff that I found with my indoor growings.

Now, I searched around the forums to see that I was not being redundant in my postings, and I found nothing on this topic that didn't get disregarded and thrown out, essentially. Minds aren't open. Or they just don't know. Or they just don't have the seeds to kill a plant (Zing!).

Anyway. My plants were suffering a rapid Phosphorus deficiency. I used seabird guano 10-10-2. I tried a little tea brew made from it for I knew it had to be quick. No dice.
So I'm drinking coconut water. Pondering. Then I pour some on...what the hell, these plants are for the sake of knowledge anyway. Buns to doing the same thing the same way all the time. Buns indeed.
Long story short, my plants recovered basically overnight.

Long story. Coconut water has an awesome amount of Phosphorus. Coconut water has sufficient amounts of Magnesium and Calcium. (CalMag anybody?) These are available in salt form. (Not the salt many of you are likely thinking of, but I'm on the Organic section, so you should be aware.) The amount of buildup is likely the same or much less than your average liquid fertilizer. Microbes aren't an issue, in my experience. (Do you see all sorts of funky shit around the base of Coconut trees? Nope. IN FACT...you usually see grass. Even in their most favored of habitat : desert island. Sandland. I imagine it even helps beneficial fungi. Now I'm not saying go gung-ho and water your plants with coconut water. I used a little bit. A tablespoon or two. Consider that not every coconut breaks and spills into the ground around it. So. Use it as needed for pretty much what I just explained. I really can't see anything more wrong with it than liquid ferts that are essentially just salts and molasses and all those sugary additives. Can you?

Oh. And you shouldn't use ones with concentrates or flavors or added sugars. Naked is a good brand, even though they are PepsiCo :/. Really I don't know. But it does apply to the ones you drink. You are closer to plants than you think.

Maybe I'm just full of shit.

I will try to get some pictorial experiments so we can see the results. I believe my soil is deficient, so hopefully I can soon torture some plants and fix 'em up again.
I do wish I could see the results in the benefits to soil fungi. Cause I really believe it could be true. But I'd have to take it to a lab. And I don't feel like doin that. So too bad.

'Till next time!
Interesting you mention Naked and Pepsi. Used to love naked and will Always love Pepsi the Original product and inventor and because it's my Home! BUT yeah the current standing with them is pretty insane. They've gotten busted dumping waste up in Washington or Oregon I think. Naked had a Class Action Suit and had to dish out Millions because it was all a Lie what they were selling or something. And to top it off Pepsi doesn't pay a MOTHER FUCKING TAX AND GETS PAID SUBSIDIES!!! Which is mine and your HARD EARN WAGE which should NOT be taxed!!! Income is from a Source, NOT from an Exchange of Time that is a Wage. Sorry I digress.

Do Make Say Think, awesome band!

im lucky to have a local supermarket with white coconuts. all you need is a drill and a straw. Enjoy your beverage and spit a little in your sprayer/water. Don't mess with brown coconuts as they are just old white coconuts that are often slightly or fully rancid.

Going to give this a try with Harmless Harvest. Their pricey but at 1 tablespoon per gallon a week that's not bad. Sometimes you can get them half off if bottle is close to expire date lol.
