Codeine in Amsterdamn

Hey guys, i'm planning to trip over Amsterdam looking for pleasures altough a bit of busines either , i hope that next week i'll alredy be on my flight, my question is pretty simple, can you buy codeine syrop in Amsterdam?
double purple cup with strawberry flavored blunt is mixed perfectly , my question is do i need to have prescription to buy it over variety drug stores or you just walk in pop one bottle of codeine syrop paying for it and go straight out without the need for prescription ?

my guess that many tourists that been to Amsterdamn love to leanin & rollin

i'd prefer mamma nature over man made drugs any chance i have, but my trip is very limited at time so i probably won't have the time to go over the poppy fields and extract something to smoke from it.
i got some good memories from the last time i tried codeine (drank) & weed years ago , i'm a big lover of opiates, and codeine is the easiest opiate you can get your hands on , since it's markting as cough syrop.
can't remember i told you what to listen to, so hold up next time with those types of comments i clearly won't going to stop listen to what makes me feel good, that's what music is about.

i'm actually the one who suprised there's comments like that,judging someone by his knowledge on clearly what's not my birth language. i got all my knowledge about english from songs and movies, so i think i'm doing pretty good job so far,clearly the post you made has nothing to do with the question i was asking, so why waste both, mine and your time ?

Codine? Better than nothing. I guess, but this syrup stuff is pretty lowlife. I understand however, that there is a relatively easy way to convert codine to hydrocodone.

When you're on the dam square, walk into the street that starts at the corner of the Bijenkorf and Krasnapolski hotel, after about half a mile you can see the red lights on the right in the alleys, don't got there (yet) but continue walking on the same street. Before the end of the street, and after that if you go to the right onto the zeedijk street, there will be plenty of streetdealers recognizable by the their psssssss psssssst sound.

Note the warning signs throughout the city, don't buy coke, several people died from being sold heroine instead. Not sure if they caught the guy by now. I'd frankly never buy from a streetdealer there, too risky, nearly half of it is trash and not what it's supposed to be.

OP I would get codeine with paracetamol/acetaminophen (I can't recall what the Dutch call it) tablets and do a cold water extraction. It's pretty much the same as making coffee but with ice water. APAP has a solubility of ~8mg/mL in ice water while codeine is soluble around 60-100mg/mL in ice water, I don't recall the exact figure but that range is pretty representative of the opiates and their semisynthetic derivatives. Make sure to gently but firmly squeeze the wet material above the filter to get all the goodies out.

I saw something about the heroin being sold as coke in the Dam. I couldn't believe there was a dealer that stupid, the danger to opioid naive users doing 50mg bumps aside heroin is more expensive than cocaine. On the bright side my first reaction to the story was "fuck that dude is retarded" and not "I really want to go to Amsterdam!" I've never been sold a heroine, but isn't that kinda thing more likely to be happening in a brothel? Also buying that buy the gram is just creepy.

I know someone that went to Thailand and thought he was scoring coke, it turned out to be H. He did a big line in his hotel bathroom. A Housekeeper found him 3 days later, rushed him to the hospitol, he barely survived. Ended up with permanent nerve damage from laying on his arm for so long. Live and learn!

No, it was specifically a black street dealer, rasta/Jamaican fella according to some.

I just read up on the latest news, let me sum it up:

- At least 17 tourists have bought it, 3 died, the rest all had to go to the hospital for breathing problems
- Since Nov 24 no new incidents.
- The warning campaign has been intensified on Nov 27
- They started removing the warning signs just days ago and will disappear entirely.
- The authorities do not exclude the possibility that the dealer didn't really know what he was selling himself (most of them are runners, junkies, and/or homeless themselves).
- The city ensured "smartshops" sell test kits specifically to test if anything contains heroine.

So, @OP, seems to be no longer an issue, but be careful regardless.

Paracetamol with codeine (anything else is branding which may variate). Available at Kruidvat, DA, Trekpleister and Etos for example, which are as common as grocery stores.

Paracetamol with codeine (anything else is branding which may variate). Available at Kruidvat, DA, Trekpleister and Etos for example, which are as common as grocery stores.

Methinks you missed the joke. A heroine is a heroic female, heroin is a derivative of morphine that is 2-3x as potent.
