I've seen a vid on YouTube were one guy "Mr. Canuck" used only organic nutes and coir with his grow with amazing results. His plants looked healthy and his method looked simple however the type of organic nutes he was using is not available in the states. The only organic nute i have found to be similar is Dr. Earth, anyone have any experience with Dr. Earth and coir?

dr earth makes great products. coir is fine to use in a mix. make sure you have some compost like earth worm castings or a biodynamic blend like malibu compost in the mix... and drainage material. don't get caught up in the nutrient brands... they're all basically made of the same stuff... just different formulas of organic inputs.

I'm doing the same thing your thinking about doing, mimicking Mr. Canuck's technic with Dr. Earth dry amendments.
Right now I'm in soil however my next run I'm going coco. So far I'm thrilled with the results Im getting, cant wait to try it in coco.

The plants are ok with that?
A true organic grow would suffer if you pH'ed the water everytime, not needed with this style of grow.

I've yet to see a successful grow on any forum using Mr. Canuck's method.....everybody seems to have problems and most pack it in and start feeding with a nute solution from the top.

Maybe you'll be the first.

Nope that would be me , been doing it now for a couple years . Took a lot of getting used to but it is by far the easiest way to grow. Once u are used to it

Use Happy frog potting mix and the Dr Earth grow 4 tablespoon per 5 gallons every 2 to 3 weeks. When pistols form switch to same amount of Dr Earth bloom.

Are you amending the coco with castings (or anything else really) in addition to the Dr. Earth from the get go? Any teas, etc later on?
