This thread addresses an important question about the effect of cold fall temperatures on bud. Unfortunately the tone has taken a dive with name calling. If it's safe to restart the discussion, I'll try. Please, only respectful and informed comments based on your actual personal factual experience...

I've got an early flowering strain (Purple Maroc) which I grew last year with success. It was a vigorous plant in 2017 that produced great weed and, due to stress (stem split) produced some S1 seeds, one of which I have grown out this year (201. PM needs about 6 or 7 weeks of flowering time, and started around August 12 this year, which would put it on track to finish up about September 30.

It has been warm and sunny all September, but last night it got down to 38F (2C) for a few hours. The weather reports predict the daytime temperatures will be going back up to around 72F (20C) for the coming days and not going back down that low again at night over the next week. That's all I need to finish and harvest. Is going down to 38F or 2C for three hours anything to worry about? I also wondered if the brief cold might even improve the quality. Any thoughts?

Am thinking of bringing her indoors at night (she's in a pot) for the next few nights.

The plant in my avatar turned purple. No frost but was pulled very late in the season, 22 years ago.
