Hello RIU,

Due to a series of unfortunate events i was forced to take my three females outdoors. They were put into flower about 4 days ago anyway so it don't matter about the photo period this time of year. I do live in Florida so temps are just right this time of year until that occasional cold front that moves in. Well guess what that fateful cold front will be moving in tomorrow night. The low for tomorrow night is 44 degrees Fahrenheit

will they be ok?
any suggestions on how i can prevent them from the winds?

It depends on how old and big they are. I used to put my seedling out early for where I live. I live in the northeast and bam a cold front would roll through. If there small enough I used to take a gallon milk jug and cut the top of a couple of inches. Put it up side down and the jug acts like a mini greenhouse. If it was to get real cold I would wrap a old towel around the base. Good luck

Some of my plants are growing in 35-60 degree weather so yours should be fine mine are a little under a foot tall maybe 5- 12 inches

Yeah I had mine out in pots and I cant bring them back inside. The forecast was for it to get down to 28F so what I did was I filled 6 2L bottles with scalding hot water and put them in the cab of my truck with my three plants and it kept the temperature high enough for the night so they made it just fine. Your usually ok until it gets down to about 38F, 45F is fine but it really depends more on the age of the plant and the ground temperature. I have left mine out and uncovered with temps as low as 40F but mine are about 81 days old.
