Exactly and make you go to one of the big disp with the money to survive the GIANT fees they have to pay. Yeah they are pushing it all back to the black market. But remember laws are to make money, they don't make taxes off of most caregivers, but they do off the disp.
That is why it seems they want to do away with all the caregivers and the dispensaries will help them push us all out! Funny! Soon you could get away with murder if you have enough money! Oh wait! They do!

So haha tell me if I got this right so far, hahaha mind you its still early, and well I have been up since 2AM? Prolly shoulda rolled a J and fallen asleep but anyways :)

in Colorado your allowed a MAXIMUM of 5 patients
each patient allows you to grow 6 plants, only 3 are flowering (already mentioned in thread I believe)
Furthermore only 2 caregivers can coop together in one grow (correct?)
And finally this is where im lost, 5 patients can get 2 oz maximum so if im a caregiver I can only have a total of 12 Oz in the grow op? WTF, is that correct?

Pretty much, but no Co-op! And if your patient has a script from the doc for more plants you can risk it, but............ Be prepared to build a defense!

Also they are trying to change the laws so that caregivers have to provide more services than just growing the medicine! Don't know if or when that goes into effect!

No it says no joining together to grow. So lets say you and a buddy rent a place to grow, you have joined together to grow, that is not legal. Now lets say you and your spouse (or girlfriend/boyfriend) rent a house, you are both patients and you are a caregiver for 5 patients, that is legal. So in that case you have 7 people you are growing for, legally (more or less). Hope that helps.

I don't believe that dispensaries [with the exception of dickhead Josh] supported any of this crap. All of the dispensary owners that I know fully support caregivers any way that they can. It really bothers me when caregivers project the image that dispensaries are the evil scourge of Medical Marijuana. We were caregivers too before all the shit got pumped down from the state. We had to make a choice. Send numerous patients to the streets, or suck it up and buy an MMC and OPCL license. Somehow choosing the latter makes us evil and out to kill off the caregivers ? Give me a break.

I believe the 70/30 rule was implemented in order to gain control of the sourcing of meds, more than the taxation aspect. If a caregiver was selling meds to a dispensary, nobody was paying tax on that transaction anyways [wholesale]. If a contaminated batch of meds came through somewhere, they need a way to track it back to the source.

Do we think that the Health Dept. is screwing over caregivers ? Of course they are. Nobody can deny that. But it isn't the dispensaries driving that.

Sorry! I wasn't trying to bash all of the dispensaries! I know a lot of them help caregivers! We have some of the best here in Nederland, But............ On the other hand there are those that put in their two sense against us as well! Evil Begets Evil! It only takes a few to stand against us and none to stand for us!

Naming "Josh" personally would lead to lead to some libel issue. If you are in tune with the politics of this enough, sooner or later you will probably figure it out. :)

lol .... you know they filed for bankrupcy? I'm pretty sure it's because the county shut down his new op after only one harvest .... lost a LOT of $$. also heard a nasty rumour about growers not getting paid ... not sure if true or not, but if so ....

yes and no. different thing altogether and some info best not posted on forums. both SoCo and myself are in different markets, so no competition (I'm not really the competitive type anyways). the reference to the person is partially due to what he and his legal team have *cough* done for the MMJ laws in Colorado ....
