Colorado Legalization Discussion

Amendment 64 passed today in Colorado. The amendment allows marijuana to be regulated like alcohol. Colorodans will be allowed to hold an ounce aswell as the legality to grow 6 plants. This is a huge deal arising many further questions for discussion:

1. When will the Amendment take into place?

2. Once the amendment is intact, what will the prices be like in Colorado?

3. How will the legalization affect the black market around surrounding states?

4. Do you think the FEDS will get involved? How?

Any other questions valid for a good discussion on what is to come.

I'm sure these are all questions floating among us, as we are all, growers.

i say about a year before it gos into full efect u got think and remember the scale that weed is going to be sold is going to be crazy and the rules on who is going to administrate it is the liquor bord. read about the bill it will explain alot i think it really needs to be worked out alot more i mean alot.brocuz its no tollernce policy is crazy

Will definitely be interesting to see the 10th amendment play into roll as its been discounted with MM many times over. Do you have any predictions of federal involvement?

i think they will hit anybody who doesn't have a VERY legitimate medical reason personally.

One thing that boggles my mind is the reasoning of 6 plants and 1 ounce. We all know a pound a plant is realistic if done rightly. A trap?

Common. My rec in Cali is for 99 plants and 8 pounds. If it takes me 99 plants to grow 8 pounds, i'm fucking up imo.

Btw, never even been CLOSE to that limit

A person may grow 6 plants and have the total of their crop if your not a grower you can have an ounce. My bet dollars to donuts the cops don't enforce any pot laws at all other then the ones refering to children and open smoking. In otherwords unless you have pounds in the open they will rarely fuck With you at all even for a few ounces. Now this will spread from CO and WA to CA and beyond I bet even texas gets with completely decriming small amounts. The last will be Oklahoma. Very soon the federal government will realize they have way bigger problem and more pressing priorities the small amounts of weed. So keep it small and it will be gravy soon.
