From the stories I've read, they're mostly targeting caregivers with many patients signed up (everyone who lists a person as a caregiver gives that person the ability to grow 6 more plants). Small growers don't have much to worry about as long as it's not obvious to the outside world that you're growing.

Don't know anything about that co-op, sorry.

Is there a massive shortage of MJ right now or what in CO???( not just top shelf but all meds???). I have been visiting a few dispensaries in the DENVER/CO SPRINGS area and most seem to be running low on the goods. I spoke to one dispensary owner yesterday in Denver and he was talking about the vendor shortage with all the new dispensary opening up. Are you guys running into the same problem or heard of this in your area??? What the hells going on???-----who's smoking all the shattttttttttttttttttt????????????damn!!!

How bout you just get some out there NOW!!!.. Last place I visited had some crumbs and a few 1/8's of various strains but low supply. All over the place new dispensaries looking for product and vendors. Colorado Med Pats can put down some meds :lol:

. They should tighten the limits on the amount of meds you can get.......Save some for the little guy :cuss:

Hey does anyone know a good rate and a good dispensary around Denver that provides cheaper doctor signatures? I have seen some for as low as 35$ but up to 250$ which ones are more legit and have good word around town as a better place to go?

Hey y'all, a shout-out from Woodland Park! I have some 11-day-old AF Hindu Kush babies and the leaves have drooped downward a bit. And one of them now has yellowing and some rust-colored spots on the largest leaves. The closest photo, trouble-shooting-wise, is mag deficiency ... but I have them in FF Happy Frog soil which is typically pretty good.

Figured I would see if anyone else has ever seen this before. Thought I might transplant them into their big pots and put them under my 4 27w CFLs. Any suggestions?

Reckon it's got too much nutes in it? And are they big enough to transplant? They're autoflowers, so they don't take nearly as long.

Definately time for a transplant, it's hard to water right in small ammounts of soil. It is for me at least.

The problems sound like it might be overwatering, and a lockout due to overwatering. I could be wrong though.

Transfer into a 16oz cup, punch some holes in the bottom of the cup with a nail, and let them sit in dry soil for a day and see how they respond.

I haven't seen anything close to a shortage. My friends that own a dispensary had to put up a sign saying no vendors without an appointment because they got more vendors stopping by the shop every day than customers.

I see ounces of top shelf going for less than $250 an oz on craigslist.

Fellow CO med growers, what does Excel energy charge per Kwh? Also, what are your average monthly electric bills and how much have they increased from your normal use? I'am running one digital 600w HPS, a few flouro tubes for clones, 3 circulating fans, a small humidifier and a 6in. 395 cfm inline fan for my air cooled hood and a 4in. 200cfm fan for a carbon filter. Just trying to figure out what to expect from my first bill as all of this has been running 24hrs. for about a month until my mothers are ready for T5's , then my HPS will only be running 12hrs. a day for flowering. Thanks guys.

I figure on .11 per KWH. Your bill will go up
about $50 per month. (estimate)

Greentree. It all depends on how many hours you're running them and the total wattage thats running. The formulas to figure your cost are:
(wattage output / 1000) x electricity cost per kilowatt hour = Operating cost per hour
operating cost per hour x hours used per month = Operating cost per month.

The only firm number you've given is your light (600w), so you're looking at 600/1000 (.6) x kwh (.11 approx) = $.066/hr. On an 18/6 light cycle that would mean the light costs $1.188/day to run, or $35.64 for a 30 day month. On a 12/12 light cycle that drops to $.72/day or $21.60 for a 30 day month.

Alright brother I just got done reading that bill, and what the fuck are we going to do. What as a coalition of pot smokers and growers alike are we going to do that could help change the wording of such a letter. I personally don't know the legal restrictions that a senate bill can have on it and what us as normal people can do about it...That part about the "Board" serving the government right there tells you they are trying to take the power back from us...We need some cunning legal types to help reword this written garbage to better suit OUR NEEDS not the fucking government. God Damn it I need to go smoke a bowl this stuff gets me so worked up

bump can you guys clear this up at all....my bro's doctor rote 10 plants on his perscription so is that okay i thought it was only 6 for the state law. Also isn't it 3 in veg and 3 in flower? It isn't okay to have 6 in veg and none in flower or what..i got my license but left the caregiver part blank when the doctor asked who my caregiver would be...the license is all I need to grow my own meds right? I can't afford to keep buying it..

Depends on how heavily you watered. If you think you overwatered just transplant again into dryer soil. But if you only watered lightly, put her under the lights and let the soil dry out.

You might also mix some perlite in with the soil if you haven't already. About a 1/3 perlite 2/3 soil mix works for me.
