Massey Romer bill was just released. They want all dispensaries to grow their own meds. More here

http://medicinalmarijuanaofcolorado.com/showthread.php?311-Lawmakers-Dispensaries-stay-but-as-non-profits

Everybody kept complaining to the politicians that all of their actions would raise the cost of meds for patients. Well they got what they want now, all dispensaries will have to be non-profit. Looks like the politicians listened, this bill should answer all of their complaints.

This bill will be great for the small time grower that is a caregiver for upto 5 people. They won't be subject to any of the new regulations.

Thanks for keeping the info up.

Bad shit going on in my flower room.

My first try at flowering.
I have some leaves that show light green growth. And these fan leaves a deep green and leathery slow death. Advice? 1000w HPS, I think it is a combination of things I am doing wrong. One I suspect is fresh air. Another I don't suspect is mites.

Denver has me in humidity/environment problems. People tell me I don't need humidifiers, but my plants get crispy leaves otherwise.

the crispy leaves arent from the humidity its a sign the plant is trying to kill those leaves prolly because it is either def. in something the light green happens to me too, but the best thing is makeing sure your ph is at a good point i had it at 6.9 and the leaves kinda did the same thing so i droped it to 6.6 to help K uptake.....plus with some strains (as i have seen the difference) need a little more Nitrogen even in flowering than others so don't be afraid of that. kinda seems like a high Ph lack of K untake problem to me, just something similar to what i had and treated the problem with

That's what the dude at Aurora Hydroponics said, but i have to hear/read stuff 4-5 times from different sources before it starts to make sense or I believe it.

I have been shooting for a 5.8-6.2 cuase that's what my clones instructions are. I' too acidic: Bingo. Thanks.

This bill would put the smaller shops out of business. They will not be able to produce 90% of their own product.

This will also make it illegal for independent growers (like us) to wholesale our meds to these dispensaries.

BOOOO :cuss:

I missed that part. Where are you reading this? I am reading 5 patients per caregiver max. Are you just interpreting that we would not be able to sell to dispensaries? If so, I'm not sure that would be such a bad thing anyway, maybe I'm wrong or missing something.

"Centers" as they are called in the bill have to produce 90% of their own product, the other 10% they can get from another center. They will no longer be able to buy their supply from us.

Thats just wrong! The basis is probably to stop mexican mafia drug trafficing through dispenceries. So will we, as mmj growers, be able to tie ourseves to a "center"? Kinda like a partner? And would that meet the requirements of this bill?

Can you please tell me what section of the bill this information is stated? A friend had a consultation with a lawyer last week and got a different answer with respect to this issue.

I just heard Fort Collins is trying to ban home-growing for any caregiver who has more than one patient!!

I don't know if that means you can grow for yourself and one patient.... or just one grow for one person. I heard this on another forum.

That would be pretty bad for the small growers who are just trying to help a few patients! They would really have no options other than to go big and get a commercial space or quit caring for several patients.

I guess places like "The Grow Locker" would REALLY pick up on business. But that place still seems like it would be a bug-infested bad idea as far as I'm concerned.

Sure!

HB1224
12.43.3-305 Paragraph 3B

Page 24 of this monstrosity. Lots of terrible things in here. Restricted hours for disp; gives the stats basically carte blanche to decline license requests;

Medicate and read this piece of crap. The good stuff is not till 1/2 - 3/4 way through. Buried.

Another dispensery robery in the news tonight, puts us up to 30 or so now

I don't get why they didn't think this would happen ???

Robbing a dispensary should be a 'shoot on sight' offense. Zero tolerance. Threat nutralized.

Just to let you guys know...best price I've found in town for Fox Farm soils is at Grow Your Own on Bellaire just 1/3 block south of Evans.

Ready for this? 1.5 cubic ft bag of Ocean Forest....

$13.63....wowzers!!!!!

Their prices are, on general, are 15% below msrp! Talking to the owner, their business model is quantity. The more they sell...the more discount they get from the suppliers. So their prices on almost everything are cheap, cheap, cheap.

Plus they are all really nice guys.

Hey .. I have been lurking for a while.. this is my first post so hang in there with me..

Here's the scenario.

A couple partners and my self are thinking of starting a commercial grow op.

We do have a mmj cards. We will growing upwards of 100,000 grand worth of mj per harvest.. think about 30-40 1000w lights.. what ever that would produce.. my dollar figure could be way off. regardless..

We have the space that is legally zoned to do it.

We also have a Major dispensary "saying" they will buy everything from us if we grow it the way they want... now as of now there will be no signed contract.. it is more verbal.. maybe some paperwork saying we are sub contracted by them... 1 partner is a long time friend of the dispensary owner.

The dispensary will not be giving us any of its "caregiver-ships" to us. But being sub contracted by them would maybe put us under their umbrella of caregiver count protection? hummm.. that is the main question..

I am trying to see if this is legal.. the grow op would be in boulder.

I would love to hear some input... (flame suite on)

If anyone can point me to where it states that this is a go or no go or any kind of examples or such I would most appreciate it..
