Colorado running out of pot

I'm guessing $100 oz are not far away............retailers know they can pretty much sell at what ever price they'd like- there is a high enough demand right now. When things calm down, prices will fall to a more reasonable price again.

I actually meant to say $100 for 1/8's, not oz........LOL

Most states that are watching the news reports on CO are shaking in their boots.

No u wouldn't.......they're paying shit prices for wholesale. The retail mark-ups are ridiculously high, partly because of the state and federal taxes.

If I was to sell an oz of weed I grew, you would be looking at paying around 400. I charge 130 a 1/4.

There are a lot of things that go into it though. Risk, travel and being able to get fresh no seeded or stem bud that has been cured for at least a month. If you are a frequent customer you receive anywhere between 1-4g extra.

I see your point but you can't include jail time to the equation.

On the same token you have to be competitive in the market, legal or not.

Colorado has a problem with supply and demand.
I remember waiting in long lines in the 70's to buy gas for the car.
It was expensive and you could only purchase so much.

High grade bud is scarce around my area and when I "do" sell it's rare cause I never really have that much on hand. I was getting 6oz per plant then tried 12/12fs and got 3-4 oz per plant and now I'm completely out and have to buy brick weed and they sell it for 125 a zip. It's seeded all to hell and hardly gets me high, but it gets the job done if I smoke a lot.

I just pulled over 100 seeds off of the last oz I had..

My price is actually a good price around here believe it or not.

Hmm, well, lets see. I do believe, yep, I said IF I was to sell my weed.

You have patients and sell all the time, you are also probably where it's legal, I'm not. I don't live in colorado. What, you seen what I charge and didn't bother to read the very first sentence of my post? Come on now, don't be one of those. what I wrote wasn't that difficult to follow.

From what I understand Colorado recreational marijuana has to follow a 70/30 rule. Which means 70% of what they sell they have to produce themselves. They can only source 30% of what they sell. Also, because of all the indoor growing operations going Colorado's power system is being hit pretty hard. All of a sudden they have big buildings with 100+ 1,000 watt bulbs and everything else going...

I think the medical marijuana dispensaries are doing ok in terms of supply? I'm not sure though, I'd need to check. I have heard the prices at medical dispensaries is far lower as they don't have the same taxes.

Groups like canncast.com are working to create a supply and distribution network but the 70/30 rule I think is where the bottle neck is coming from. How many lbs can one dispensary realistically grow right now?

The 70/30 rule as it applies to medical indicates a mmc may only purchase their 30 from another mmc.

Supply and demand has increased prices. Supply will stay tight enough to keep prices up until private growers can legally wholesale to a dispensary.

I'm really feeling sorry for the folks in CO.

It would be nice to not be a felon in the state I live in.

Prices will settle down eventually, may take a year or two,
