all i said was single parenthood and low SES are correlated, and that centuries of unequal access to opportunity have put blacks in a lower SES position.

Buck you are quite clear in your assertion that blacks need help that no other ethnic group needs. You go on to explain why you feel that but there is no denying you are arguing that one ethnic group needs more help than another.

Now if you are somehow arguing for reparations but are afraid to say it then come right out and say it. At least that makes sense. Claiming a 10 year old needs special after school help more than other kids of the same neighborhood because of skin color, then saying you are not saying it's based on skin color is a bit confusing. Can a Jamaican kid get in on this?

Still trying to justify racial discrimination by mislabeling it as "ending the achievement gap", I see. Equal opportunity isn't enough, some how everybody must get equal results. The abilities and hard work of the individual should have no bearing. Only racial genotype is the deciding factor. I don't think you can convince anyone that racial discrimination is justified under any circumstances. But you keep on promoting it anyway. Poor baby, is it really that important that you "win" an argument?
