I have found that a truely heroic dose of LSD is still not as intimidating as a heroic dose of mushrooms. I respect both drugs but I have reverence for for mushrooms that borders on fear, always. I treat it as I would undilute acid or caustic solutions. Mushrooms are the mirror and you tread lightly when it is possible that mirror could be a reflection of yourself at any time for any reason. And... no one is immune to the effects of that mirror on the soul.

why are shrooms like that soo weird but as always ur spot on and I know it for sure!! and why isimt stuff like this documented somewhere like things that are a gsruntee

I still take them. I take them before I make life changing decisions, I take them for an exploration with a friend, I take them to highten my experiences of musiums or a trip into nature, most doses are moderated, not the crazy doses of my past. so far a selling them, every grower I know eventually gets the message from the mushrooms themselves that they are not to be sold. Some are told that barter is ok, some are told that recovering expenses is ok but most are instructed that an exchange of money for mushrooms in a concerted and continual way will spell disaster for those growers who still insist on taking them. I am one. In the old days I sold them but I was, through various means, dictated to, I can recieve money for expenses but for the most part if I am ever to have another partake, it must be for free. If I want to contnue to inhabit the mushroom's world I'd best pay attention to it's edicts. I know of no one who got rich selling mushrooms - if for no other reason than the market for them is very strange and limited.

Depends upon what you mean by strong, if you mean strong as in milligrams vs micrograms, certainly you are correct. If you mean the influence the drug has over you when you take standard doses, then I will differ with you. I would far rather take a huge dose of LSD than an equally huge dose of mushrooms.

Put it this way - what is stronger? a given amount of hash oil or a given amount of heroin? I would argue that the hash oil is more profoundly affecting of one's psyche than the heroin.

Depends on one's defintition of "od" though. If one figures that an "od" is ridding the fear and loathing train for 7 hours vs anything but dying, then one can easily od on mushrooms. Of course, no one has ever died from eating too many mushrooms, nor from eating to much LSD - it that is what an od is, then it makes no difference. If "od" means having taken more than one can comfortably handle, then I figure that there are more Mushroom "od"s than LSD "od"s.

Mushrooms have a capricious streak, they tend to play with you in a way that no other hallucinogen will. They play in the big leagues and can easily simply show yourself in any light they choose.


Mescaline seems to love you and let you see yourself in a good light, an illumination of all you CAN be. Mushrooms will most often show you what you are, in the worst pissible light. LSD has no such prediliction. If you go through hell for whatever reason, it isn't LSD's doing but your own. I know a number of people who (wrongly) believe that they have "mastered" LSD, they take a large dose of mushrooms and are invariably humbled.

Mushrooms have helped me make many life decisions now, and will continue to into the future. I'm actually preparing for a trip in the next week or so with my wife. We moved a few months ago, and are all settled into the new house, and doing good so it seemed like the perfect time. I really enjoy tripping in the fall, but even more so on mushroomy spring days makes me feel very intune.

That's just your morals. There is nothing wrong with selling shrooms. Just be fair about it, like anything else. There are plenty of people older than you still growing and selling them... And have eaten much more of them without ever feeling horrible guilt for it. You're also the one that says that one shouldn't bitch about paying $40 for an 8 hour ride that you can't get from anything else. Well, the same should go for mushrooms, right? I understand people think they are sacred and all... but people think church is too, and they make a lot more money than to only pay expenses!

anyone take shrooms for migraines? wondering what would be a dose for someone that doesn't want to trip at all but wants the medical effects. any insight would be appreciated.

Try a half a gram brimck. There may be some minor effects from that dose but they wont trip.

I have taken shrooms the day after a good trip. If I take the same dose as the day before, then I get a really good 'body high' going. My legs get extremely sore though, especially my thighs. Now, I don't know if that is from just walking around a lot the day before from trippin or if the shrooms effect some part of the nervous system that will do that to the legs..... The next day trip is very lucid. You will get very high, dilated pupils, but be very on point ( mind functioning at a hyper level). Like a hightenned sense of awareness

You and me both on this one man. Except mine was an 8ball and only a half 1/8 of shrooms but god those were some of the most terrifying / exhilarating visuals of my life.

Just looking at the numbers a lot of you guys chomp of shrooms is just insane to me. Kudos to you all, but I know my limits lol, and for psychs they're pretty low. Stims though..... But then you get nothing out of those. Well, a good night usually.
