These are the lights I now have:

250W MH
2x 75W Cool fluoros
250W HPS
2x 75W Warm fluoros

Whats the best combination of these for veg and then for flowering?

I would use the fluorescents for cloning and veging and the HPS and MH for flowering .... it's the buds that need the most light .... however you could use the MH for veging too .... they would grow faster ... how many plants are you planing to grow? And will you have your plants in different stages like a continual harvest? Or will you go from seed to harvest? If so .... use all your lights for every stage.

Good luck to you.:peace:

MH + cool cfls for veg, HPS + warm cfls for flowering? put the cfls around the plant more so that its not getting just sunlight from above.... maybe?

Id like more opinions on this, I think there must be a "best way" of doing this and I just want to get the most out of my lights.

mh an warm cfls for veg hps an cool cfls for flower! mix the spectrums up cos the plant still uses a wider spectrum than just red/blue.

personally i agree with growrebel i would put both hids in the flower room I plan on doing this soon now i have a 400 watt MH and I have a 400 watt HPS on the way and i am going to put both big lights into flower room and keep my cfls for veg area this is just my opinion the plants may take a little longer to veg but i think the difference in yield will make up for time lost

Okay, I dont have the option to run more than either the MH or HPS because I have one ballast. So obviously I need to run MH for veg then HPS for flowering..

but what should I do with the fluoros. Should I run two warms for veg to try to have a large amount of the light spectrum or should I run two cools for veg to really push for bluish light? Or vice versa if you know what I mean.
