Tax the fucking church if they want to have a say in politics... otherwise... go away and do church things and leave other people alone to live there lives, even if you religious asswipes don't like it, learn a little tolerance, after all, we've had to tolerate people putting up crosses and other shit in the name of the make-believe.
that's what sucks..religion is non-profit 501(c)(3)..how often does anyone see atheists on the side of the road with signs?
they're supposed to be 'a-political'..they're anything but.
'do as i say not as i do'..it's in the gospel according to matthew..thank's be to god..ooops forgot where i was..
The warning Matthew's Jesus (23:1-12) is issuing to those under the influence of the Pharisees of the time is "Do as they say (for, after all, they sit on Moses' seat), but not as they do."
this country was founded on the premise of 'religious freedom' dating back to the colonies..religion was politics back then and you joined in or risk being labled 'heretic or witch'..those who were found to be these things were merely political scapegoats for most were monied single women with an opinion and not church goers, not a good thing in 1692. seems as if it's not a good thing in 2015, either.
and if i'm not mistaken, the night before the witches death her home and belongings were inventoried prior to hanging and turned over to the church..religion is evil incarnate.
