Coming to the end of my first grow!

Okay so….
First lot of autos are coming to an end soon and I’m reasonably happy with how it’s gone. Not sure I’m going to get as impressive a yield as I’d hoped for but the buds look okay. They look fairly dense, I hope they are anyway.

So a few things…
I have a feed schedule which I’ve been sticking to pretty rigorously but I need to adapt to what I think the plants need/what I’m advised here, so it’s not set in stone. However I’ve just begun week 10 (since planting seeds) and if I stick to it, I’ve another 4 weeks until Harvest.
Basically do these look right for that sort of timeline to finish?
Poor application of LST (due to it being my first go) meant that there’s some unevenness to my canopy and underdeveloped popcorn buds low down, which still look immature and have white pistils. So maybe 4 weeks is right for them to catch up?
However to top nugs have orange hairs and the trichomes are mostly milky with about 5% Amber, although of course lower down the plant there’s still a few clear ones.
I know I have nutrient burn on some of the leaves but, I’ve corrected that through the process by feeding less at certain times, but once the leaf tips were damaged that’s it init.
The plants seem very healthy and drinking/eating a lot, and the buds have been steadily chunking up.

I was planning to flush (I know that’s frowned upon here) and by ‘flush’ I do mean purge the medium with RO water until there’s very little dissolved solids in the runoff, and let the plants use the last of the nutes within the plant in the last couple of weeks. However, there’s compelling evidence to the contrary that flushing is BS and I’m inclined to believe that so my schedule is going to be water only for the last week or so, after steadily reducing the nutrients the last couple of feeds.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Yep thats got about 4 weeks left and flushing is a myth. GL.

First no reason to even look at trichomes now. Touching your plant is just going to damage your trichomes and turn them amber from physical damage. You're at least 4 weeks out and most likely a little more.

Your plants are showing a potassium deficiency, common in flower, not nutrient burn. I'd continue to feed them until harvest.

Even more alarmingly (perhaps?) I’m going by a nutrient schedule from the nutrient manufacturers. (which I think is supposed to be for photoperiods? Not that they say it’s even for weed)
But if you reckon four weeks left seems right, then it’s not been a bad thing to follow.
Yeah I know that the seed companies tend to be wildly inaccurate and all give very exaggerated flowering times.

Oh okay, thanks. I’m not touching the buds or anything, I mean the microscope does I suppose, but I try to be very cautious when handling my plants for any reason.
I will give them plenty of feed up until harvest to hopefully give them what they need.

Looks to me like you are about week 4 of flower. You're showing a K deficiency already and you want to flush, at the end
As your plant reaches senescence you will see it slow down in water/nutrient uptake, just drop your feeding PPM down a bit at the end. You'll see it from the plant but flushing is worthless unless you are hydro. I'm in Coco so about every 2 weeks I run a low osmolar solution through my Coco once to reduce and balance retained salts because I probably over feed a bit.

If you read my original post, I didn’t say I wanted to flush at the end, I said that seems to be common practice and I thought that’s just what you did, but I have since discovered that it’s likely BS.

I’m growing in coco and have monitored the salt build up quite carefully and was definitely overfeeding at one point, so I’ve backed it off and given plain water (well pH’d) a couple of times just to manage the PPM in the runoff. This is probably a factor in why I’m seeing the K deficiency now. I’ve gone back to full feeds now (well with a slight tapering down) and will continue to do so.

I’m not going to ‘flush’ as such, but is just water for the last week really going to be that detrimental, if there’s still quite a lot of nutrients in the medium?
I have no opinion either way as this is my first attempt but there seems to be two schools of thought on the matter.

Looking good especially it being your first. Just be patient and don't chop till it's ready. Post some pics in four weeks
