Hey guys, sorry if this is probaly the most asked question but it says me searching threw hundreds of threads to find the asnwer

im about to start setting up a growroom for 1 plant, ill be using cfls for the veg, so the question is what cfl should i be using? what wattage, and how many for should i put in the top light hood. if anyone has a link to online stores of the ones i need i would appreciate it thanks

To start off you'll only need 1 bulb above it. But as the plant grows you'll need to add more bulbs. It really depends on how big your plant gets. CFL light doesn't penetrate very far so you need to keep the lights pretty close. 23w cfl are good because they don't produce a crazy amount of heat and are easy to find. I would recommend mixing both 6000k or higher and 3000k or lower so you get a more full spectrum of light.

You can get the CFL bulbs are Lowe's, Home Depot, Grocery Stores, Any place that sells light bulbs, they are just the regular energy saving bulbs you put in your house.

yea cool white, but daylight is slightly better spectrum if you can get em
