The CBC has discounts for volume, but they aren't exactly steep discounts. You can get a zip for 200, which is around street prices. The quality might be a bit better though.

They do because they want plant numbers. Grow big plants and your plant counts start to matter more than giving away 2 or 3oz a month to some guy you will never meet.

They get a lot of protection from the laws in place. They get support from the patient getting their meds for free, who can't be discounted. Say what you want about the motives, they are actually providing something for free to someone who needs it. They're charging people who want it.

By your logic anyone selling illegally is dumb. I'd argue that's not really the case. Risk taking, sure. Dumb? Nah. These guys are smarter than others I'd argue. If they've been doing it since the programs inception for example they probably have enough to retire on by now...

regardless of what happens to the program in the future.

As someone who does sell illegally, giving my name and address to Health Canada so I may grow legally is not a smart move. Especially if I still intend to make illegal transactions. You get what I mean? Why reveal yourself if the risk factor remains the same?

Because the risk factor really isn't the same.

I completely agree OGEvil, because their DG's, their now legally allowed to possess and carry the amount required to deliver to ALL patients, in other words, this DG is allowed to transport say, my monthly limit of say 19oz's, this guy over here for 22oz's, well, he's effectively allowed to possess well over 2.5lbs that he can only be charged during the actual transaction, their window for being "Caught" has now narrowed down to the transaction itself, they can no longer be busted for possession, or for cultivation, they HAVE to be nailed during that 2 second handof, otherwise, all they have to do is say "Prove it"... which isn't exactly the easiest thing to do considering your allowed to have it...


It's called reasonable doubt, and unless the individual gets busted mid transaction (Again, remember, this is about a 2 second window) he will get off due to reasonable doubt, we have reason to believe, your honer, that my client was in fact delivering this cannabis to his patients on that day.

Fair enough, but when the someone you're telling is the authority willing to offer you protections, the rules change a bit.

Some folks still opt not to. Politically things are at best unstable. I get that. Me? I'm in for the fight personally. They won't be taking away my constitutionally protected right to grow anytime soon. DG's don't have that same constitutional protection however.

Next time, quote the entire statement, I stated exactly HOW alot of DG's are able to provide free meds, if you don't like the truth, ain't my problem.

Clubs are pricey. Most charge $280/oz here (who's that desperate ), but the 'better' ones do it at $220/$240... sad when a buddy next door has nearly the same product at $200 but isn't legit. Sky high prices

Wouldn't bet the overhead is that much of a difference. And you're right, he may not be there tomorrow, but someone else will, with the same prices.
