I want to do hydroponics and i have a 3bed house with a room collecting dust. I dont want the whole room looking like snoop doggs green room lol. 2-3 pounds a month is hardly what I'd call "just a couple plants." Considering that the average plant takes around two months to flower, you'd have to grow 4-6 pounds at a time. With good yielding varieties, you might grow around 20-30 plants to get that much.

As you heard from Led, forum people don't respond well to vague, tell-me-how-to-do-everything questions. That goes for all forums, not just this one.

ok sorry 1st in forum talk about marijuana growing. ive also heard of sea of green how does that work. read about that you can get an ounce per plant and keep a circular motion going

There are TONS of things you need to learn before you'll be pulling down those numbers.
Also, I would recommend that you start with soil to get a handle on the nuances of our favorite plant.
Start in the newb section of this site - every question is answered there several times (even questions you havn't thought of yet).
Then, pick up your credit card & start here. Keep one on the back of your shitter & read up.

As mentioned, vague questions that lack research will only get you trolled here.

Welcome :D You've got plenty of reading to do ahead of you. I'm on my first grow and I feel like I'm back in college lol. You can find pdf files for all the grow books online to save ya some money. If you ever get a growtent, go for a secret jardin one cuz I regret getting another local brand one. If you're really serious about growing, you should probably order seeds now so you can read up on how to grow while waiting for the seeds to arrive. That will some you a week or two. Good luck! it's a fun hobby to get into.
