It,s the 1st scrog i,ve done it,s getting so busy i,m wondering about all the competeing with tops next to each other there all trying to get prime light and are blocking each other and numerous buds from the light. This maybe the norm for a scrog ? If someone could put me right on this matter ? The photo does not apear to show busy it realy is. Basicly there,s buds everywhere under the leafs that can,t be seen from the photo,s. ??? Any advice on this matter apreciated regards TCD
a photo taken earlier, there now 3 weeks into flower.

Looks like you got a NICE setup going.
Only concern I see is ventilation. Make sure you have hardcore air circulation because it's gonna get dense.

I still see mesh. Looks like early flower still. Should fill out nicely. Or in short looks right from here. It will be crowded. Just like some dense SOG approaches.

Just make sure good air flow as mentioned.

But 1200 in a dr150 is a good match. Did you actually fill the 150 edge to edge? Could have some issue just on the checking/maint side is only head I can imagine from this ...

Unless you've just got some longer arms than I do and dont mind laying about.

Only thing might be strain stretch but so far looks compact if you're three weeks. Fairly even as well. Depending on the light spread in there expect some edges and the corners to get slightly more stretch.

Cheers.

It looks great so far. As suggested, keep airflow moving under the canopy of the plants to keep powdery mildew and rot away. good ventilation is a must to keep the humidity down and if you are really worried about the fan leaves on the bigger colas shading out the B grade buds, you can cut the leaves in half on the top buds. Cut them perpendicular to yhe stem and between the leaf tip and widest part of blade, leaving half the leaf intact. This allows for light to reach those buds now , while the offending leaf is spared as well.

I would thin out a LOT of those bigger fan leaves and really open up for air flow and allow for light penetration. Otherwise that SCROG looks FABULOUS !!!

Well fan leaves supply their nearest node so removing leaves is going to take something away from somewhere...I guess you could remove large leaves from the largest top buds, but make sure that you leave any large leaves that are connected to lower nodes, if you want the lower nodes to fill in...I never do that though...I just leave them be, and the top leaves make the top buds so much larger that who cares about the popcorn buds? I say eff em...if by 5 weeks of flower they are still pitiful I cut them off anyway...so I remove my lower buds more than I remove my large top fan leaves.

I can understand your concern, some pruning will be needed to keep things airy, tents are hot and sweaty...keep on top of that and you`ve got a good harvest there. You`re gonna have to prune though and make little sacrifices for the greater good.

Thanks folks a lot of good tips there, i have a fan underneath the net and my 150 fan putting air in below the net and another 150 pulling it out the top of the tent, the screens aprox 1.35 square so there,s also air movement around the sides. I,m not concerd as such the more the merrier imo but it,s no good if it,s going to rott or be full of popcorn ? i know it needs done sometimes but i hate removing folige. thanks for the input folks TCD
