Concerned about Harvesting! HELP

Alright, so srsly? 10 pounds? How many plant you got? Whats your setup?

But on a side note, it takes a person who knows what there doing, around 4 hours to do a pound of bud.....

SO IM NOT ALONE!

lets do the math, if my 150w hps can effectively cover 4 plants, and only pull 1-o each, thats 1/4 pound, and the smell is horrendous

for me to get 10 lbs in my HOME grow i would need 160 plants and 40 150w hps's, on my height restricted grow

to the ceiling you say? at optimum grow conditions it that magical 1 gram per watt right? 10 lbs = 4,448 grams, thats still over 4 1000w hps's with less plants, but whats the electric bill for 4 1000 watters, filters, fans and stuff? NOT IN A APARTMENT GROW UNLESS YOU ARE A RETARD AND NEED TO BE HIT IN THE HEAD WITH A TAC HAMMER

Yeah no pic gives him no credability. Of coarse it can be done but just not by him . It takes a lot of light to yield 10lbs. I use upto 4 x 600 watt hps lights and the power bill is big enough with them.

did you grow 10 lbs worth in your apt too? that would be insane. how many lights is that?

no disrespect, but you did not pull off 5.3 lbs dry did you? thats 1 gram per watt, and explain the smell/bills/work...lol

I have pulled over 5lbs from 3 plants before and the ones in the first link in my signature I got over 4.5lbs from and I am talking about dry weight. I dont go by the '1 gram per watt rule' I use the 'Every 600watt hps = 1 pound' rule . For my growing style it has never proved me wrong.

Smell = The smell is so potent that just walking in and out of the room will leave your clothes with a strong scent of marijuana that seems to just soak in and stay until they get washed.

Bills = About $600 per grow and that includes the normal daily living use as well.

Work = Yes I do work in a legit job so growing is just a hobby which supplies me with enough free weed to last me a fair while

Yes seriously 10 pounds. This will be done outdoors from 30 plants. Thanks for the estimation on curing.

When you refer to a room I don't know what that means please give me some dimensions. I don't have pics because it isn't September or October. I will have pics of my whole process though once it starts around April.

I didn't grow 10 pounds in my apartment. I agree with you that would be insane, but it never happened. My grow will consist of one light...go outside and look up

Ok you would need a sealed room with like 3 or 4 carbon filters in it and some pretty cool neighbors...
You can make some decent carbon filters but they wont put a dent in the kind of smell your are talking about.Maybe if you make some that are big enough, you need some heavy duty ones
I think you will find drying in your apartment isnt going to happen.You shouldnt weigh your buds before they are chopped though. A grow of that size will be hard to hide, good luck with your grow

oh, so i guess i'm kinda sorry, haha....so you haven't even grown anything yet?? hahaha

i would say you wanna buy a pretty big carbon filter probably cost around 400 or so and get a fan that supports the filter and then make a bedroom a grow room and set it up like a grow room but run pieces of rope from wall to wall with a staple gun and hang the branches on the rope. and the semll should be fine. Thats how i do it with 2 pounds at a time
