Concerns About Telling my Caregiver that I'm trying a Grow.

Barnes & Noble in Augusta seems to have removed their cannabis cultivation books - or at least they moved them from the gardening section and i haven't found their new location yet.

It sounds like i have health problems because i can't find something at B&N?
Gee MB. Hope things are going okay for ya. I wonder if the same holds true for me? I cannot decide what number to order at Micky D's, even though the menu has been the same for years (well sort of). Maybe I am getting the onset of Dementia? Maybe something is wrong with me tummy? I am glad tho that I don't have what you have because you cannot find a book at B & N. That sounds serious !! Hope you feel better, and if not ... maybe Mr. Paperback will help you out with some "Chicken Soup For The Soul" !!

LMFAO
Bob :-)

We both know your caregiver isn't going to do cartwheels. That doesn't mean he won't support your decision. How good is his weed? Honestly.
Is it that you want to grow weed comparable to his (so then you ask for help and advise and stay close friends) or you want to finally grow some good dope and then you don't really want too much advice.

How good is his weed? .
I've been smoking for 45 years, but only have become acquainted with MM in the past year. His weed is GREAT and superior to what I was getting, initially at,
Remedy in Auburn, at half the price. I almost feel like, if I was able to grow quality MM within a short period of time he would feel diminished about his 20 years of growing. That's the vibe I get. He's often remarked about how people think it's easy and subsuquently fail.

everything i have heard (never had first hand experience) with remedy is that they are NOT a good measuring stick.. If his meds are that good then he shouldn't be worried, if he is then their is a reason why he's nervous. nobody wants to see a customer walk away, and it scares people to think about teaching them how to walk away BUT frankly most people won't want to grow day in and day out, and for most people the effort of growing is not worth the 200-225 and OZ of dank meds cost. Its a labour of love. and if your caregiver doesn't see that, you should..

peace and good luck

That's what sucks about getting older. You will improve his system and make it better, and it will suck for him. we have made a few improvements on Ford's car idea (you get the idea). Unless this guy watches Dr Phil everyday, it may get awkward. You owe it to your health and your wallet to grow. Ask for his support and get all the help and advise you can. Take care in not burning your bridge (which obviously you are or we wouldn't be discussing it) and you can sleep good at night regardless. Over the years, even upset people with hurt feelings still accept your cash. lol

I'm 62 and have never grown anything and never done anything like this. It's a perfect time for me to open a new door and so far I'm fascinated by it!

After a disastrous start with seed drowning and other mistakes I have 1 2&1/2 week old Tangerine Dream that's been through hell. I have 8 thriving seedlings, 9 & 10 days old. They're in a 4 x 4 tent, in FF Seed Starter soil, under a Plantmax 600 W HP conversion lamp dialed down to 400 a couple of feet away from the seedlings. Temps in the low '70's and I'm using a humidifier and wet towels to stay in 40 - 50 %. I am getting some pH Down tomorrow as my water is 7.0.

3 Tangerine Dream
3 Chocolope
and these freebies:
1 Wappa
1 G13 auto AK
1 Blue Widow

Thats great shotrocker. You got me beat by 20 years, :-)

Ive been at this for a while and am a caregiver now. If theres anything ive learned in 2 decades at this it is: Be patient and observant.
Growing real good MMJ takes a little bit of learning and some trial and error. Finding what works best for YOU is the most singularly important thing.

You should start a thread for your first grow, I's love to follow along and offer whatever advice/help you want/need. Im sure the others here would be more than helpful to you as well.
