condisation dripping from ducting HELP ASAP THANKS +REP

Anbody get any evap off the light ducting with teh cold air from out side and the warm air inside around the ducting causing the ducting to sweat like crazy and dripping right on your palnts causing light burns on you palnts, i am have bigg problems with this non insulated ducting temps outside around 25*f temps inside 82-85*f, lots of water dripping off my ducting and palnts are burning all over wtf do i do to fix this

have

7 16" wall fans on high
dehumifier set to 50% RH
C02 set to 1250ppm
temp set to 82 some fluctuation withthe deadband


water is 100% evap water with ppm of 000 not rain getting in ducting or anything like that..

the problem you are experiencing is due to cold air and warm ducting.


the only truly successful thing to do is insulated ducting on your cold intake and also crazy foaming it to make it insulate better, it happens because moisture rich cold air is coming in then getting warmed up by your ducting, just like breathing on a cold window.

try googling about shower vents for bathrooms as these have similar problems with cold ducting and steam passing through them causing condensation . the fix is the same as i described.

Had the same condensation problem. Wrapped the intakes (6") with old towels and secured them with duct tape. Problem solved in the cold snowy northeast.
