Ive read somewhere that the conditions u keep ur plants under can give u better chances of getting females
The things it said that would help produce more females are keep temp around 70 and the have the lights on a 14.5 hour on cycle. and keeping the humidity really high.
I just wanted to know if anyone knows if there is any truth behind these?
I would vote myth,,,,,,,let me explain why. There is not a lot of actual scientific research done by growers, though several do side by sides to test certain things what happens most often is simple observations that more often than not based on expectations.
not only that but there is a place most growers go to where they do not want to admit failure so they blame other things that they observed during the grow. These things get passed down one grower to the other and become pseudo facts/myths that refuse to die and continue getting passed around.
Best thing you can do is try it for yourself and test it by doing side by side grows under similar conditions merely altering one thing at a time to determine results. note that in actual real experiments you would need to do it more than once and have similar results everytime in order to be able to honestly say it was real
