Here let's make this simple. Buying clones. If there not rooted you need to put them in a dome. If they are rooted and a few weeks out you grow them like normal. Some clones will come in cups others in a soil ball stapes with nylon. Then there are the 1" soil cubes and the RW cubes.
 
i have 8 rooted clones in about week three, is what the grower told me.
i just transplanted them im running 2 very small cfls and a standard kitchen fluorescent for lights, is that overkill or?

Three weeks from what? The day they started? Or the day they rooted? What are the specifics on your lights?

not at all. Standard kitchen lights are T12. They will grow plants but not the best. Not the right spectrum.
