NEVER HAPPEN!! Back in 1933 EVERYBODY used gold as money, we had been using metals as money for hundreds of years, they could confiscate a lot of gold. Today gold has been demonized and marginalized, less than 2% of Americans hold any Bullion at all. The government could kick in the door of every home and maybe come up with $100 million in gold, hardly worth their time or the 10 billion expense to kick in doors. Even less silver is held by US Citizens.

Gold and Silver are one of the few things that you can buy a lot of and have no record at all of its sale, none. and no tax either, by law.
