Confused about flowering buds!

I have a question I haven't seen before about flowering buds. I'm in the 7th week and the top of the buds look great but the very top of the bud looks like their twisting as they grow. My hubby say's that means their done but the tri-combs are still clear. Their a stavia/inca mix. It's called New York City Diesel. Also my Lemon Ice plants don't have very many of the tall tri-combs just the shorter ones on the leaves surface. Is this typical? Thank You for any advice!

the twisting is just how that particular bud grows. depends on the strain, and is nothing related to them being done, more like them getting closer to finish.
only way to tell when they are done is the tric color.

Post pics! My New York City Diesel are in week 6 of flowering today, maybe we can compare? I read that NYCD has a 9-10 wk flowering period so I was expecting that myself.
