Confused about Super Silver Haze

I've been trying to bid on some Super Silver Haze seeds on the Mr. Nice auction site. I've won a bunch of cool gear there recently at great prices, but Super Silver Haze is a tough one to get (as well as Mango Haze). Someone always snipes it away from me near the end with a higher bid.

However, I can more easily get seeds from other breeders, and still at reasonable prices (because I can get 5-packs):

• Sensi's Silver Haze fems
• Dinafem's Super Silver fems

Are the above just self-pollinated s1 seeds from great Super Silver Haze mother plants, that they got from Mr. Nice's stock, after doing some pheno-hunting? Maybe this is the easier route for me. Does anyone have some experience with one of the above, and perhaps in comparison with Mr. Nice's?

I'm wondering if I should just take the easy route on this one. Of the larger Euro breeders, Dinafem seems to have a great reputation for their feminized seeds. What would you advise?

Thanks. I've read some mixed reports on GH so I wasn't sure what to think.

I've also read that Neville took the parents with him when he went over to Mr. Nice, and that they actually have the original genetics, and not GH.
Hence my confusion.

And then, why not just get some s1 knockoffs from Dinafem or Sensi?

Hmm off the top of my head there's a silver something at Sensi but I am sure some pheno hunting will still have to be had, maybe Nirvana also

I have a pack of dynasty's ssh f4.. not sure if they're still around.

I'd be willing to bet that it is the same super silver being offered by sensi and dinafem. Most big companies in Europe outsource their seed production to Spain. So odds are both dina and sensi simply order bulk seeds from same source.

Silver haze and super silver are different strains silver haze is older i think well sensis

Best one i ran super silver wise was greenhouse but that was way back idk if its the same now

Thanks for the link, I’ll read it when I get home. Maybe I’ll just get a 5-pack of Greenhouse SSH and SLH fems and try them out. I’m guessing they should be good.

Yeah slh is killer if you can find the super fake lemonade sweet type tasting pheno stinks to shit for a sweet strain as well i have heard its a rarer pheno these days maybe easier to find a ssh dom pheno in it now idk i aint seen it grew out in years tbh was a strain i smoked alot of years back cos a friends dad had one in his rotation of mums he kept

I just tried ordering putting in an order through the GH website and it seems as if they don’t ship to Canada. I’m surprised about this, but I should be able to find GH’s SLH and SSH at another bank.

Same id have thought everywhere but russia aus and the usual ones some breeders are picky about tbh probably made a deal with a wholesaler your side or something who knows

Ethos has a slh f5 I was eyeing

Ive had good results with silver la and the silver kush hybrids from dna..mind you this was before 2016 so who knows if mothers and fathers are still the same.

Mike J from peakseedsbc sent out an email about the European market and how someone asked him to become part of it or something like that. They wanted to buy his name out or something to that effect.

That was a couple years ago so I dont have that email any more but he might give you more info if you email him to ask for clarification. My stoner brain ain't as sharp as it used to be.

You sure about that? I thought mr nice and crew used that name, then changed to silver haze.
Green houses was the super silver haze that won all the cups in the late 90's.

Arjan from ghs seeds stole shantis work from what I heard. His white widow, few hazes. Shanti was the master breeder, arjan was the dutch marketing dude all about making the big bucks. Reason shanti from mr nice has to call his white widow, black widow is because he was sued by ghs when he left and started mr nice, his black widow is the real deal by the way. I'm not really into hazes and those old school strains, I like cookie/cake crosses, but I have seen lbs of mr nice grown super silver and mango haze and it was fire. If you were going to go with a haze I would personally go with mr nice stuff over ghs. Shanti is a legendary breeder, him and Neville were good friends. I had a buddy that grew some ghs stuff and the shit smelled like hay.
