either when a plant reaches it's maturity it will show sex you can flower early and it will show sex what seems to be earlier. you can clone your plants and put the clone in the flower room to dicover it's mothers sex you are going to need to reach out more and more as you go along i can't give you everything just a phew pointers the rest is up to you.

This is the correct answer. Though, to avoid confusion he meant 24 hours a day by 24/7. I just thought I would clear that up because he phrased 18/6 in the same way he meant 24 hours 7 days a week.
So i was thinking of vegetating it for 3 weeks then forcing it to flower and show it's sex then back to vegetating?

If you veg a plant for approx 4 weeks(5 weeks max, if they're growing slowly) they will show their preflowers, and can be sexed without any change in lighting. Then you choose a plant with the most vigorous growth, and overall characteristics that you'd like to save. Keep that one for a mother, or clone it and keep one of those for a mother.

That'll work, but like fuzzybuddy said, it's hard on the plant(stresses it), and wastes alot of time. It'll take about 3 weeks to do the presexing process, maybe a little more. You're better off to wait til the 4th week of veg, take some nice clear pics of the upper internodes, and let us sex 'em for ya, with 100% accuracy.

the way alot of growers do it is label your pots then take cuttings label the cuttings.then flower the cuttings after they root . after you sex them kill all the males. then keep the best females with the traits you want then keep her on a 18/6 light cycle. take clones from her as needed. you can root clones and keep your mother plants in the same grow area.
that's how i hear a lot of people are doign. why aren't these people doing preflowers as I'd assume this would be MUCH easier??? there has to be a reason why?

The reason, is because it takes like 3 weeks to do it, and stresses the plants. Like i said, veg them to 4 weeks, and then they are sexable by looking at the upper internodes, and don't require any lighting changes to do it. That's the fastest and easist way to do it, trust me.

grow em til they are a month or so take a clone grow it for two weeks after it roots put that clone on a 12 /12 cycle and watch it to see if it gets flowers or balls this will take two-3 weeks as well..

I forgot this label each clone so you know where it came from..
keep the females that you have as mothers on 18/6 light dark cycle and roll with it..
kill all males.
