Confusing self clone/seeds

Hiya guys, its a simple question but I keep confusing my self.

After you say germinate a seed with a paper towel and put it in rockwool. Do you turn the light on 24 hrs above the humidity dome?

I have a propagating tray and dome I just keep mixing how you do clones with seeds.

you dont do clones with seeds. cloning is clipping from a larger plant. You do want lights on for 24 hours during the eg state though. just browse this site. plenty of info.

Thanks yeah I used the growfaq. All the videos and reading I did kept keeping confused as to what to do after a seed is germinated then put into rockwool. So I am guessing I put it in a dark warm place until it sprouts right? The faq really does not go into detail as far as that. I am like the others I cant get the search to work and these tag searching is confusing lol.

Well as far as lighting just says use heating pad? So I guess keep it in the dark right then when sprouting turn the t5 lighting on?
