He had every right to a trial if he wanted one

He didnt

He preferred to continue his acts of aggresion from another country
an ally of ours
Who he also attacked and plotted against

Right here is an example of mispent angst from you
Then he should have been tried in absentia and proven guilt of treason prior to his execution.
This was not attempted for him or his son.

Anwar al-Awlaki, Hasan's former imam, with whom Hasan communicated in the months prior to the shootings

The Fort Hood shooting was a shooting that took place on November 5, 2009, at Fort Hood, the most populous U.S. military installation in the world, located just outside Killeen, Texas.[SUP][1][/SUP] In the course of the shooting, a single gunman killed 13 people and wounded 29 others.[SUP][1][/SUP] It is the worst shooting ever to take place on an American military base.[SUP][2][/SUP]
The sole suspect is Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army Major serving as a psychiatrist. He was shot and taken into custody by Department of the Army Civilian Police officers,[SUP][3][/SUP] and is now paralyzed from the chest down.[SUP][4][/SUP] Hasan has been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted murder under the Uniform Code of Military Justice; he may face additional charges at court-martial. If he is convicted, he could be given the death penalty.[SUP][5][/SUP][SUP][6][/SUP]

And I was unknowingly in the same room with Larry Flynt once.
Does that make me a porn Mogul ?
Hassan wasnt unknowingly in the room with al awlaki
he didnt unknowingly correspond with him
Quote al awlakis father

The father of Anwar Al-Awlaki — the American-born “bin Laden of the Internet” — condemned his death in a U.S. missile strike and called on Western Muslims to heed his slain son’s jihadist teachings. In an English-language video posted on YouTube, college professor and former Fulbright Scholar Nasser Al-Awlaki said his son would live on in his sermons.
“My son’s blood did not and will not go in vain,” Al-Awlaki said. “It is the job of all of us to spread his knowledge and keep it alive.”

Why not google al awlakis sermons and tell me what an angel he is

You simply are not "Getting" my point.
Was he guilty? Government generated reports and media leaks say so, so he must be.
My point is not that I'm squeamish about the dirty work done in the name of liberty, but what really makes me squirm in my playground seat is knowing that the same government could easily say damning things about you or I while choosing the final option.
You seriously feel comfortable with randomly giving the government that power with no checks and balances ?

What kind of proof do you need?
One of his followers personally shooting a family member of yours?
So was the colorado theater shooter a republican or democrat or an expat living abroad, because it REALLY MATTERS. Who has caused more directly-attributle death of us citizens? BIG Pharma or terrorists? corrupt medical practicies or terrorists? you're such a joke, from the words that escape your keyboard all the way to your stupid fucking meme avatar.

My avatar is a self-produced picture of trichromes through a microscope, and my goal is it looks like a trichome planet. Do you see the difference in meaningful personalities here? You're just...nothing.

How many American citizens were killed in drone strikes ordered by Bush?
None.
I don't see this as a partisan issue at any rate - its a Constitutional question of legality.
Again, I don't see a problem with this as long as the rule of law is followed regardless of whom is calling the shots.

John Phillip Walker Lindh (born February 9, 1981) is a United States citizen who was captured as an enemy combatant during the United States' 2001 invasion of Afghanistan. He is now serving a 20-year prison sentence in connection with his participation in Afghanistan's Taliban army. He was captured during the Battle of Qala-i-Jangi, a violent Taliban prison uprising during which Central Intelligence Agency officer Johnny "Mike" Spann was killed.
Lindh received training at Al-Farouq, a training camp in Afghanistan associated with Al-Qaeda. There, he attended a lecture by Osama bin Laden and is said to have found him "unimpressive". He was not aware of the planned September 11, 2001 attacks. After the attacks occurred, he continued to stay and fight even after he knew the US was now allied with the Northern Alliance.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP] Lindh had previously received training with Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, an internationally designated terrorist organization based in Pakistan.[SUP][/SUP]

Nice info, but irrelevant to the conversation.
Try a google with "George Bush drone strike american killed " & see what cha get.
As much as I loath to side with the ACLU, I must on this topic & to quote their legal director:
“The questions here is whether the government is justified in killing them without charging them with anything or trying them for anything,”

Those werent US citizens US citizens dont attack the USA while hiding out in foreign countries So to do nothing would make us their Bitch Do you really want the usa to be someones bitch? I'm starting to think maybe you do
They were legally US citizens. Killing them is illegal. But I'm going to look the other way.

The Executive branch is not charged with evaluating a citizen's guilt or innocence and due process does involve at least two different branches of government. I smell distinct whiffs of old Bush shit still sticking to the walls of the oval office.
Now that's rich, you blaming Bush for Obama's actions. Have some more kool-aid.

Mostly thru their online postings , videos emails telephone calls And their own parents saying they support their childrens terroristic activities
I have to agree with you there is ample evidence. I am troubled that this new extension and clearly illegal power has the potential for abuse. Also, the killings often include the neighbors and family of the terrorists.
