somebody visited my daughter at school. Somebody. With the custody and legal issues that I went through over the last 2 years, kidnapping or abduction has been something I have greatly feared for my children, my daughter in particular. While picking her up from school one day the teacher says- "oh, yeah, so we figured out that it wasnt you last week." I look at her confused and say- "I dont know what you mean."
the teacher responded- "well we thought it was you talking to (my daughter) last week, but we realize now that it wasnt you, just someone dressed like you and the same height and build."
I said- "Really? Who was it then and how come no one told me about this before? Did she approach him or him approach her? Did she get upset at all? What was his hair like?"
No answers to anymore questions. Just that they thought it was me but it wasnt (they finally realized because I wear a very distinctive hat). I went through all of my friends asking them one by one. The Only people that would have my approval to visit my daughter. At first they said it was my little brother. So I went and picked him up from his school and brought him over.... Nope, not him either.
This preschool is enclosed in a 5 1/2 ft fence with clasp locks at the only entrance. This person walked right in through the front door with their head down, wearing a ball cap intentionally imitating me. This person had an agenda. As soon as the teachers saw my daughter talking to this person they called her name... the person disappeared right after that, left strait back out the door. This person spoke to no other child that was there, just my daughter.
Who was talking to my daughter? Why was someone allowed on a preschool playground without knowing their name or business? I had specifically informed the teachers of our situation prior to the beginning of the school year. Explicit instructions were left to keep a special eye on her to make sure she is safe and no one is messing with her. This person talked to my daughter for "10" minutes they said, which leads me to believe it was longer....
My daughter didnt approach this person... they approached her.... no one intervened. My daughter didnt even remember this happening by the time I asked her about it and had no idea what I was talking about! There is a lot MORE to safety then guns. Its the people acting on choices that cause the damage... equal and even more damage could be done with other weapons or no weapons at all (words for example). I have been assured they would never let anything like that happen again....
