So wait a sec, help a stoner out. You're gonna run 12/12 with blue lights on during lights out and no 730 to put them to sleep quickly? And can't you just wait for the coconuts to come to you, (THUD!)? Can't you just buy them at the bodega or are there no bodegas on your island paradise? Also do you prefer light meat or dark?

I spent about $120 on this (passive design and the PAR numberz are through the roof....! Maximum efficiency! :D )

Nah that is a good point...so yeah maybe i will have a 2 hour dark period and then blue lights on for 10 hourz.... or will this 'wake up' the plantz coming from this dark perios...? is this out of step with the experiment?

I like to get fresh coconutz...best quality milk/meat/husk and water?

Bo-de-ga? maybe a there is one of those a few islandz over...but thatz a 7 hour swim...(42 minutes) ;)

All meat is welcome... :)

Ok Psu...wont be long now my friend...

6 out of 7 of these popped within 36 hours....im pretty stoked seeing as my last go was pretty dismal...must have been 2 fresh a seed from mothers pod... :)

I should get back into my breeding game...all females (no herms) so far...just need the genetix....(sigh)

Oh and i have no idea which is which..purple haze and moby dick...mweh...

Intreresting experiment.

I'm setting up a 730 nm flower initiator for some long flowering landrace sativa grows and was wondering if it would be ok to add some UVA leds to far red light.

Can't wait to see if your plants flower Ok. Would be cool if you had a couple of control plants.

Yeah should be good either way...

Hmmmm not sure why you want to add to UVA light when your 730nm's are on....you are trying to make your plantz sleep quicker for this 5-15min's before lightz off...

Well they will either flower or they will just keep vegging...so it is pretty easy to see this... :)

Trying to killtwo birds with one stone. If I fill up a BML 48" bar, its probably a lot of far red. But if I can add some UVAs I can boost the uv with the same unit.

true, but then we can see when they are supposed to start flowering. It might not be a full binary effect.

EDIT: I put the article before but I realised in page 2 it is already quoted. Weed is good :)

Also, someone tried it and it made some plants becoming hermi but no real improvement and they spend way more time to pass in flower. If I find the thread back I will post it here. It is in french and the test was done around 2011-2012 if I remember well.

But maybe there is a different from seed... will see :)

Ok. 1st you have to have your 730nm on a separate circuit. It needs to come on by itself. Other diodes with inhibit the job of putting the plantz to .

I dont find that 730nm is necessary in your day time 'lights on' period.

But if it is on a separate circuit...sure add some UVA to it... :)

sure separate timer to create twilight, slam the plants over the head that the day has ended and put the girls to bed otherwise the sativas will stay up all night giggling.

Ummmm...itz a standard ATX PC case....so about 25-30cm from the top of the case to the top of the cups...(sorry havent checked on them today...lazy guy right here... :) )

Yeah...not bad huh...and the stalks are fucken silly thick! thatz the blues doing their thing....getz more important for 'tree growing' i guess.. :)
