Container size in Tent

Hello,
I need to install a 3x3m tent in order to veg for 10-12 days 1050 plants in it.
The problem is that 1l pots wont do since they dont fit in the size of the tent (i am limited in size- so i cannot place 1100 1l pots in 3x3).
So the guy from the grow shop suggested that i use 0.7l plastic pots (9x9) instead.
I am wondering if that isn't too small for my clones?
I plan to plant the clones in 0.7l pots Veg under MH 400W for 10-12 days and then transplants to the final pots of 11l.
Do you think i will have root bound problems?

For that short a veg period I would just use rapid rooter plugs and transplant when they are relocated to a larger space.

@Trichome-ing@me that is a great idea which i considered cuz I have height capacity, but there are no vertical systems(benches) around my location.
Rapid rooter plugs i think wont be of use since i am starting with clones not seeds and i will be holding the clones under veg for about 2 weeks.
One friend suggested that i should cut roots if they come near bound, but i am not sure how this will affect their growth, and if there is any point of veging and cutting roots, kind of confused.
Any other suggestion?
