trying to search these forums for my answer but i keep getting a database error.. so i just thought i would make a thread, it seems everyone transplants there babies as they grow, cant you just keep it in a large pot the whole grow process?
from what i undestand it's a gallon per foot of growth for soil. mine are one foot tall bushy indicas that i have kept in one gallon containers since sprouting and are about to flower
If you can start in bigger pots, and not have to transplant, then that is just one less thing to stress your plants. I honestly don't know the equation, and 1 gallon/ ft of growth seems reasonable. My logic is that its better to have to big of a pot, then not big enough. Check out this link, I'm going to grow like this for my next, and it seems like a GREAT way to get the most out of a soil setup. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-gro...imming-tech-pics-post1508851.html#post1508851
I like it bigbud, seems like it would be very low stress. Theratford started his plants in 2liter pop bottles, then just cut off the bottle and placed the whole thing into a bigger pot when it was time.
