ok so i thought this would be a fun thread idea.
i want to see all of the nastiest shit you guys and gals
have come across in your adventures with cultivating fungi.
deformed mushrooms are ok as well because those are always
interesting too! :-P so without further ado let the pictures
flow ladies and gents.

That's funny. Earlier today I was wishing I had taken a picture of an amanita that I saw a while ago "out in the field" that was at least a foot and a half in diameter. Now I really wish I had taken that pic. That thing was impressive. At least to me. I've never seen a shroom that big before.

Yeah, it's too late now. That was a few weeks ago that I saw it. It had already been uprooted too. That's probably why I didn't bother. Also it was pretty much just off the sidewalk in suburbia. I saw it from 20 ft. away and was like, "can't be!" It was...

LoL. I had actually seen a few in someone's front yard that day as well. I didn't take any of them, though, because they've never sounded that exciting. But it was a bit tempting. There was a few days where I was seeing shrooms everywhere, but none of them ever bruised blue or anything. Quite disappointing.

Anyway, almost a whole page and no pics. Sorry about that. I've been hoping to see some good ones.

me too =(
but on a side note i dont think
amanita muscaria bruise blue because
they dont contain psilocybin or psilocin.

Yeah, that's why I didn't bother with them.

I'm wondering, maybe no one's posting pics because of the title. From the title it looks like you just fucked up a grow. I almost didn't check it out myself when I came across it.

I dunno actually. I'm not very creative with that sort of thing. Just did a quick google search and found a couple cool ones.

Is that first one a morel? You find those here in the early summer, they taste like steak when sauteed...fucking delicious

I've found quite a few before but it's been a while. I know of a secret spot where many grow every year:) hehe I discovered it by accident while looking for other types of fungi. People around here get territorial and secretive about their spots too, there's a lot of fanatics. I remember walking through those same woods looking for more delicious morels and saw another guy looking and I asked if he'd found any. And he said "nah, but if i had I wouldn't tell you where they were"
