Indoor grow in sig. Noob to site and growing marijuana (have grown other plants)

Hello all,
Another noob first time grow. I bought some Bubbelicious seeds from Buy Dutch Seeds on 6/11/08 and received them 6/17. Started germination of 5 using paper towel method and all 5 sprouted within 4 days. Put them into Miracle Grow soil, 3 in tall 5 gallon pails and 2 in short 5 gallon containers on 6/21/08. One of them didn't make it, never broke through the soil even after a week. The remaining 4 have been growing strong on a 24/0 light schedule. I've been watering with straight water then a small amount 20-10-10 fert every other week. The plants in the tall pails are about 2 inches taller than the plants in the short containers even though they are the same age. The tall ones are about 12-13 inches tall.
My cabinet is 4.5' wide, 2' deep and 6' tall. I'm using all CFL's totaling 488 watts, 31,500 lumens. It's a hodge podge of different light temps, some 4100k, some 3050k, some 2700k, and one 6500k. I'm going to use the same lights for veg and flowering.
If I understand the difference between male and female, then two plants look to be female and the other two I can't tell yet. I'm thinking of switching to 12/12 in a few days to start flowering.
