The rule here is no stem showing. You can sell huge colas as long as there is no stem visible.

Obviously they prefer all nugs but they don't refuse big pieces.
I tried that back in Missouri 15 years ago when i sold lots of pot, and got told to serve up proper because they grammed it out for $35/g Back then wholesale was 5k/lb for top notch. Customer is ALWAYS right. If someone drops 60k - 80k on me every couple weeks, I'm not letting stems get in the way am I?

That's because they are greedy bastards who can't be bothered to cut it down.

I see it as their deal if they want to sell in g's and quite happily hand over half oz colas amongst buds without stems.

Even my normal sized buds are too big for their 1 - 2 g deals. They have to get the scissors out anyway.

Lets say you talk pounds and street value. HYPOTHETICALLY speaking, most start their shortage with the pound itself. 453.59 grams suddenly becomes 448 grams (wtf).
Haggling fixes most problems... If they dont like it they can shop somewhere else. I'm already nice enough to let them cherry pick bagged up O's or offer large pieces.. If I had a good customer that bought all of my product, I would cut it to his specs.

I see it like this :- there are so many new growers in this industry, all churning out loose, airy buds from lack of light/pruning underneath.

There's too much popcorn floating about which shouldn't even be sold. All the crap underneath which doesn't receive light.

I think clubs are happy to see a few top colas intact. They can imagine the harvest having some sort of structure.

None of my clubs have every said anything to me about cutting all of it down. When they open the bags they pull out a bigger cola/bud for inspection anyway.

The definition of good product: multiple people will want all you got before you got it and funny I've been offered cash two weeks in advance at going rate to claim a next harvest. Like wtf, I turned that offer down because I never count chickens prior to their hatching and I was loyal to my regulars.

Quality, seriously, that's the name of the game. Now do that with quantity..... :hump: teaching shops handicapped by high overhead, government compliance and excessive taxation, I have learned to do both at levels I didn't think possible 15 years ago. Having achieved yields between x.x and x.x GPW (U thought i would help future contestants lol) grams per watt in DWC, strain dependent, I'm never looking back.

I don't prune underneath a plant, that pound or two is wax fodder. ;) Anything that gets good light = twig right? So the rest = wax fodder. Cells are cells, I used to lollipop, no more, too much lost errl at no expense to the tops.

So if a plant pulls 3 - 7 pounds and a third is larf, that third becomes wax.
