Continual (Al B Fuct style) Grow in Perlite

I have learned a lot from this forum. And have with the help of others on here developed a system of my own. I am currently harvesting every 2 weeks on average 32 plants in my sog grow in a 9'x9' room with 2k of lights. I've basically reproduced Al B Fuct's grow, with a few changes of course. The biggest difference is I use 1 gallon nursery pots with all perlite medium. Its the best thing since powdered toast I tell ya.. Cheap, disposable, innert, and has a great wicking ability. Anyway i've been trolling in the shadows of these forums for a while, too paranoid to post. But what the hell. i'll get some pics up of my grow. I'm still getting it perfected, but for right now i'm harvesting about 3/4 lb dry every 2 weeks, pretty sweet for a mickey moused setup on a budget.

Peace growers

Hey, Magellin! I just converted my room from a multi-site DWC set up to a SOG after finishing all of Al b fuct's threads. I'm growing 45 plants under 2 600 watt air cooled hoods, in 3 - 3x2 trays. My DWC set up just wasn't using the space efficiently, and I was only pulling down about 26 oz per harvest, which took about 9-10 weeks each. Each tray will be harvested every 3 weeks, and I hope to pull about a pound off each tray. I'm also growing in straight perlite, I tried a 50/50 vermiculite and perlite mix, but vermiculite held too much water. It's taken me about 2 months for the conversion of the room so I missed a harvest, but I think it'll be worth it. All the trays and tables are all DYI. I'll be keeping about 6 moms in their own hung panda film tent in the same room ala Mr. Fuct, I wish he had given a tutorial on how he made his, mine's light tight, but lifting up the panda is a bitch to access the moms. Anyway, I just stated this SOG flood and drain thing, so I'll be watching how it goes for you. Good luck!
