Continuing a bud rot infected plant

So first time indoors I’ve got bud rot. It’s only affected the main cola which I careful cut off low down and bagged up. Too many overlapping leaves and not enough air flow/movement in that part caused the issues

Now my question is can you finish a plant that’s been infected providing the environment has changed?

Ive dropped the humidity from 55 to 40% in order to help it.

Should stop any more mould forming. So if that’s the case I can finish it up right?

Nothing worse than watching weeks worth of work go to shit in a few days

Bud rot is a bit*h....buds not affected should be ok to continue "if" environment is adjusted...GL
Yeah man too right!! The cola was LST’d so was an L shape and when I removed it there was loads of water droplets in there so that’s obviously how it took hold.

I’ll be watching like a hawk to make sure it doesn’t spread but the rest of the plant has much better airflow

I lost a few of my choicest big colas to bud rot my last grow, first time I've seen it in years. The colas looked perfect on the outside, but were so dense I decided to go through them carefully while trimming and found some rot in 4 of them, all near the upper 1/3 of the colas. Just saying, the rest of my grow was perfect, even the rest of the plant, and after removing the infected parts, the remaining buds dried just fine and have no fungus.

Thats what I was hoping to hear. It does seem very localised so fingers crossed now the humidity is down it won’t progress.

Also increased my extraction fan to help with airflow.
