Controlling a temp with AC & Ventillation system

The Way you are set up you are not making best use of your carbon filter and your ac vents smelly air, so you'd always need on a gel, whicqh is likely to be too little help when your plants are further along in flowering. Better to set up your carbon filter to recirculate room air which will make it so your room smells so little that you can vent the ac without smell. Then make a closed loop that takes air from outside the grow room, cools both your lights and then exits the room without ever mixing with room air. You'll need one extra inline fan to make it work. This set up also makes it easy to add co2 if you want.

Ok well I snuck in there at dark time and put a paper bag over the exausht for the flower room for a temporary fix untill I get time to redo my fanage a bit, when I did this I saw the ducting jolt as all the air redirected so it is pulling off the light strong now...but guees what else happened that I discovered later, the jolt knocked the light timer ajar from its socket so the lights did not come on for an additional 5 hours...leaving them in the dark a total of 17 hours intead of the normal 12...

The good News - My temp 75F - The AC thermostate 74F - I am sure the lights being off so long contributed to this greatly but lets hope the space is being cooled properly now.

seal the room-

keep the air through the hoods. that should be an effective combo. i run sealed and have no problems. i do supplement co2.
