controlling the temperature Help

I live in a warm climate and im having some trouble keeping my plants at a constant temperature. Im growing in a small closet (2' x 4") with a 400 w light. I currently have a 4" duct fan to draw out the warm air and a circulation fan mounted on the wall. Lately ive been leaving the closet door cracked open to bring in fresh air and keep the temp down (80). Is there any small air conditioner units or air coolers that would work well in a closet? with the closet door closed the temp goes up to 92 when everything is running. any suggestions? :leaf:

A Co2 system would cost about the same or less and produce better yields than buying an A/C, not to mention the smaller amounts of electricity used

get another duct fan or a can fan if you can afford it

Im pretty sure co2 just makes the plants able to tolerate a higher temp
Yes, the plants are going to be able to tolerate a higher temp but they are ALSO going to grow faster AND bigger. I suggest you do some more studying.

My tent gets up to the upper 90's and even sometimes pushes 100 and my plants suffer no type of stress and are nice a fat. Check my grow to see what I mean ;)

It doesn't sound like his room is even sealed though

I got a 5 dollar fix for you. Go to wallmart and buy a small 6 inch fan for a desk in a office or teachers desk etc. they come with a clamp and stand. I just clamped mine onto my hood of my 400w hps and voila reduces heat drastically. IT only cost me 5 bucks. You should really invest in some sort of exhaust fan though it will help tremendously, i use these fans for my intake and exhaust and cooling of my hps, i got a 10 for inside and my temps are at 78-80 even on the hottest days outside and my dimensions are 19x47x68 inches.
