Converting 6 light fixture to 4 light

Hey, I have a bathroom vanity fixture(6 lights long). This was perfect for my original plan but things have changed. I want to convert it to a 4 light fixture. If I cut off the 2 end lights and just cap the loose white and black wires will the other 4 lights still work?

I figured it out, I cut and capped the ends of the wires and the other four lights still work!
