Haha, cooked is the way to be, gonna light up anther in a second and jump in the bath with howard marks  figuratively speaking of course

What i mean (here i go again, i always try to be concise and end up waffling)

I fill the reservoir up with a full batch of water and nutes, this will typically last a week, i just run this down to about 2 inches form the bottom of the tank, maybe add a spot of Ph'ed water on thursday just to keep the roots moist and healthy, and then come the saturday, i empty it and start again. I never add nutes and water to an old reservoir, always fresh from scratch if i'm adding nutes. Might not be the best method but it works for me. Would probably be better if i kept the water topped up a bit ore often, but it still works dandy :) unless i forget to fill it up then it';s just an empty tote and unhpapy plants, has happened a few times, if the flat's not empty the plants don't get fed, simple as that

I'm curious about all this. Has anyone actually tested or had water tested after certain time frames to check for N-P-K content? I know there are test kits for all three in aquarium water, could they be used to test hydro solution?
