Now this company should be the first ones out there testing all their stock for HpLVd, and they should base their marketing on that like Dark Heart has chosen to do. I blame Dark Heart to some extent for creating the conditions for the HpLVd pandemic by spreading it far and wide and infecting many priceless old collections in CA and beyond, but you have to give them props for leading the charge against it-they have more than made up for it in my book. The problem is, the other industrial clone sellers aren't following suit-they don't believe HpLVd curtails their profits because their infected clones "look" healthy and if someone flowers that clone and doesn't keep it as a mother-it will most likely look and flower normal due to a relatively low viroid load, and the grower will never even know HpLVd made an appearance in their garden. The danger lies only if you keep an infected clone as a mother plant-that's when the viroid has time to stack inside the plant until it looks abnormal. I suggest any who cares about this pandemic actually contacts their favorite breeders/clone sellers and ask them if their stock is tested and what hygiene procedures they have in place to prevent the spread of this scourge. Let them know that it's a big deal to you because only a threat to their $$$ will motivate these companies to change. I only mention this here because of the 2 positive Cereal Milk clones that recently popped up in my little circle. A little knowledge will save you a ton of grief!
