Cool technique for re-vegging a harvested plant--good for noob

First, I'm a noob and just had my first harvest of 1 plant (all the space I had). I couldn't stand the thought of just having this one shot at this strain (Dinafem Royal Haze Sativa dominant), but I also didn't have the $ to buy cloning gel, etc. and because I screwed up and almost killed her right before harvest, cloning wasn't possible, so I looked for other options and found this great technique.

The first part is about cloning, but it's the re-vegging section under the cloning section that I'm doing right now and am recommending as it is actually working like a charm! I was gone all last week and came home to new growth in 4 places on my girl, but I didn't leave NEAR as much on my plant when I harvested as they even suggest in this link.

Anyway...I thought it was good information to share as it was as easy as taking her out of her old soil/pot (after harvest and leaving 1 small bud and a leaf sight intact on another branch), trimming the root ball, re-planting her in new soil, and then switching to 24 light cycle. I don't know yet about the stress effects, but so far I'm just thrilled she has new growth already and I KNOW she's got a healthy root system because I saw it when I trimmed it. Anyway...wanted to share. Happy tokin everyone!

Keep at it man! Revegging is totally possible just dont add any nute until the plant has really restablished itself as you can easily burn it to death. Once the plant has reastablished itself and is putting out nice sizable branching i would go ahead and attempt to clone with no rooting hormone ( solo cup inside a gallon ziplock. You might have auccess

I don't agree... When going back to veg, nitrogen is needed. The plant has depleted it's nitrogen and needs it to help with the reveg - at least that's what I've read... And we all know that everything written on the internet is true

This is something that shouldnt be encouraged at all. I have had numerous plants try revegging after harvest and they have always hermaphed.

I don't agree... Had a Delicious Cotton Candy that I revegged... 2 ounces first time around - 5 the second time around... No hermie here.

I've re-vegged several times... it works well but you will lose a little potency and it will raise your chances of having a hermie slightly due to the stress involved but under the right conditions you shouldn't have to worry... Just keep an eye on her treat her well and good luck... :-)
