If you get an AC, which you'll need, make sure to get a DUAL hose portable ac, unless you go with a mini-split. If you get a single hose model, it will exhaust the air from the room to the outside, which is obviously bad. The dual ones don't exchange the air, so the room can be a sealed environemtn with co2.
I have a whytner 14,000 btu model. It cools the room, 8x14, with 3 1000's, that are air cooled. I have to run the AC all year except for december-march. The gear in the room heats it without the need of additional heat, even with the lights air cooled. I have a heater in my smaller 4x8 room that is attached with a sealed door though.
You will need an electrican to bring in a dedicated 30amp line for your lights, you will need a dedicated 15 amp line for the AC, and at least one more 15 or 20 amp line for the other things, like the fans and pumps or whatever.
These electrical upgrades are not a luxery, they are a requirement for this type of equipment. Get a 240 box that runs on the 30amp line to plug the lights in.
