I bought a 600w light with a MH bulb for veg unfortunately my budget reflector leaves my plants at 95 Fahrenheit ... bad times.

Im on a super tight budget so what is the cheapest way to the light. oh and cooltubes arent an option as my MH bulb is freakishly long, like ten inches :|

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Cooltubes are possible, I would reccomend one if ur temps are super high, mine cost like 25 dollars to make maybe too.

I have been debating AC but the ducting would be a nightmare with the layout of my room. there are now pr-made cooltubes capable of fitting the bulb. Custom made is an option i guess but i cant get baking tubes here so i would have to get the glass from a manufacturer (which im looking into) but not having much joy, we will see if anyone gets back to me after the bank holiday. its not even a seasonal problem just an air flow one i think.

whats the views on air cooled hoods ?

i tried to go a little cheap. i bought a cooltube for my 600w and thought 2 120mm pc fans with 54CFM of airflow to push at one end and pull at the other would work at cooling it. this did not work and had to buy an RVK .
