so ive been dealing w the heat issues for 4 months that you guys are dealing w. so far the best remedy i have done is making a cool tube. so i have the intake sucking air from out side my room straight into my light and then exhausting it out the room. i have my oscalating fan on 24 7 inside my room and the exhasut fan on 24 7. the i open up my door like 6 - 8 inches and put a fan on blow the outside air in and its been keeping me at 81 degrees and 50 hum on average.

the next step would be a ac unit or swamp cooler.

well the two hottest things in the roon are always the light bulbs and the ballests i aways hang a fan right in front of both of them and then have an exaust vent as well but i two eventially had to go to an a/c it serves two purposses u can keep ur grow room at 78 degrees and keep the humidity down.

im looking at a CO2 set up also, but that doesnt help with the heat issues
Yup. CO2 will actually increase the temp. It just allows yo to run a bit higher temps. Also, adding Co2 to compensate for heat isn't the right answer (and costs more upfront) But even with the CO2 and higher temps buds will still be fluffier then with CO2 and lower temps.

Now thats all I've read thus far. Still working on proving it true or false.

CO2 WOULD DEFINITELY BE A MUST IF YOUR STILL RUNNING AT HIGH TEMPS. I HAVE 400W HPS IN MY CLOSET AND KEEP MY TEMPS WITHIN 5-10 DEGREES OF WHAT MY BEDROOM IS. CHECK OUT MY THREAD AND IT MIGHT GIVE YOU SOME IDEAS. HOPE I HELP ANY.

i got my temp down to low 80's by opening the closet door a little

like i said above... i do the same thing. it sucks that you have to break the seal to let the heat out... but its more cost effective than ac. and this will only happen during the summer months.. shouldnt be much of a prob after that

so if i plan on growing in the winter when its cooler out the heat wont happen so much?
well for the most part... depending what your overall outside temp is. but most heat comes from your light... so if you install a coo tube like i did and exhaust the heat outside you should be fine.
